Hello to all our supporters! We have some very sad news and we are hoping that you can help us spread the word far and wide! Hecuba one of our retired husky heroes was having a sleep over at Royal Oaks in Calgary with some friends of ours last night. This couple has already adopted 2 other dogs and are in the process of adopting our Hecuba. These people are very loving and caring folks who are well aware of how to handle our husky crew. Despite this Hecuba got nervous and ran to end of her leash and in the process ended up getting away from our friends. She has been missing since last night and there has been no sightings of her today. She is the brown and black dog in the photo. She is around 55-58lbs, medium build and does resemble a coyote from a distance. She has a bright blue leash with a black, blue and yellow collar (as seen in this photo). She will no doubt be afraid and may not come when called. If you see her and are in close proximity please approach slowly as to not frighten her and talk to the calmly. Hopefully she will be tired enough to allow you to come close. You can get in touch with us through Facebook or call any of the shelters, SPCAs or Humane Societies. Thank you everyone!
