Hellooooo . . ^_^ Well, this time around I used the Schism Tracker to create a Mix, or perhaps a Remix, of a main title soundtrack theme for a movie called The Devils Own. I believe it was about 6 months ago that I was on Netflix and I came across this movie. When the movie started, I right away fell in love with the main title song. Sara Clancys voice is stunningly beautiful & James Horners composition for this film, as is for several films, is once again amazingly brilliant. I just had to find the main title soundtrack theme in the format of MP3. It took some searching via Google, but I found it. As usual, I used Audacity to piece apart & cut out all the clips I wanted to use for the tune. I added effects to those wav files and then used more wav files from my Homegrown Sounds library. If you are into using wav files as instruments for trackers or other software of the like, also check out freesound.org, which is where I got my sub-bass wav file. I figured it would only be appropriate to use some video from the movie for this song rather than just record the Schism Tracker playing the song, which is really kind of boring. However, due to Sonys copyright infringement policy I was unable to have any footage from the movie for the song on YouTube. What a bummer! The song was created with the movie in mind.... obviously. ^_^ I own no rights to this movie what-so-ever. Nor do I own any rights to the original Main Title theme composed by James Horner. I pieced together some of the movie to go along with my remix of this Main Title theme for the movie The Devils Own by James Horner & Sara Clancy.
