Help! I am totally fed up with IE10 and IE11. Since I upgraded - TopicsExpress

Help! I am totally fed up with IE10 and IE11. Since I upgraded last year from IE9, no matter what I attempt to do, it will not allow a new tab to start up with google after the first tab. I have to keep changing it everytime I open IE in Internet Options-General-Tabs- and then choose when a new tab is opened open the first home page. I tend to do this everytime I boot up my PC but once its done, its ok for the rest of the time I have my PC on. NOW..... in the last couple of weeks, when I google something and click on the link, it opens a brand new tab with the page link I clicked on and NOT the current one that I used google with, as it used to be. WHAT THE HELL IS MICROSOFT PLAYING AT????????????????????????????????? If ANYONE has ANY help to offer, sensible ones please, Im a bit on edge at the moment, then I NEED YOUR HELP WITH THIS PIECE OF SHIT, before I delete IE forever.
