Help! Opinions/advice...my neighbor just brought me this squirrel. His cat had it cornered. Its bigger than it looks, but I know its still a baby and unable to live on its own. I was going to try to put it back out for its mom, but first, not sure where the nest is and second, it can crawl out of the box and run really fast. I would guess it to be 7-8 weeks. The guy has an oak tree in his front yard, but do I put it there and let it run up the tree. Im assuming it wasnt far from its nest. Of course, for tonight, its sleeping with me! But I hate to take it away from its mother when there is really no need. Its sleeping soundly in a fuzzy blankie on my chest right now. Thoughts?
