Help a Mom Out: She writes: Advice needed for my almost 7 year old son with ADHD. He has become deathly scared of bees. He got stung last summer, but was fine afterwards and for the rest of the summer. Now, though, he lets out a death screech everytime he sees one. His teacher even called me to tell me he wont even play at the playground at recess b/c of the bees. He wont go out side after school to play with his friends...I am constantly battling with him about it. I have told him if he stands very still when they come near, they wont bother him and will fly away...it hasnt helped. I am almost wondering about emotional OCD at this point, b/c this is such a severe fear. Anyone else have issues with this?
