Help a Mom Out: She writes: We have an 8 year old son with PDD, ADHD and severe anxiety. Our daughter is 10 and NT. Our sons diagnosis was about 3 years ago and since then, he has gotten much of our attention in the way of meetings with teachers, doctors, ect. Our daughter recently started with a vocal tic of throat clearing. However, after having had her diagnosed by the doctor and having done a significant amount of research, it seems her tic fits are very atypical in pattern leading me to wonder if our daughter is actually fitting a Munchausen Syndrome diagnosis. Anyone else have severe sibling reactions to inattention? ( As a side note: we do try very hard to make up for all the attention we give our son and she frequently has time with us one on one).
