Help me stop the organized crime of blocking black businesses in Louisiana. Share this info, to help us ALL! Louisiana taxpayers are paying high dollar attorneys fees to deny 24 year disabled Army veteran and minority female, MAJ Tracy Riley (US Army ret) right to due process. LA ATC Commissioner Troy Hebert and the LA ATC employee Jessica Stern denied MAJ Riley (ret) a second application for a liquor permit December 2013. MAJ Riley (ret) submitted a request for appeal Jan 2014 in accordance with LA revised statute 26. The LA ATC contracted attorney Jodi Nuss of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP (Baton Rouge) is attempting to get the appeal dismissed. In June 2014 the local Civil District Judge approved MAJ Rileys request for appeal but the ATC contracted attorney delayed the appeal by requesting a Supervisory Writ at the New Orleans Appeals Court. The New Orleans Appeals Court denied the ATC attorney in early November 2014. Now, the ATC contracted attorney is continuing to delay the appeal by requesting another Supervisory Writ to the Louisiana Supreme Court. Louisiana taxpayers are paying for the LA ATC contracted attorneys mounting fees when all that is needed is to allow this case to go through the appeals process. Please call the state agencies to ensure justice for ALL.
