Henri Bergson once said “always follow your inspiration.”. We have agreed that is to be true. One of the most creative acts of us people is exactly inspiration. Bergson’s vision of the human being as a “measureless virtuality,” for us, seems to be a good example for the height and depth of inspiration. Although we can not measure inspiration it can be seen when enacted by the inspired person. The inspired person can say yes or no to inspiration. Maybe the most respected aspect of inspiration is that it cannot be manipulated. The experience of authentically being inspired is one of the most beautiful things a man feel. A shift in personal understanding emerges as an expression of the experience. It arises from the inspired person’s experience of being with the other who is inspiring. Being inspired reveals an openness toward meaning that comes from beyond oneself.
