Henry Blue > THE POWER OF PRAYER Crying over spilled milk? Get a mop. clean it up, get on with life.... Philippians 3:13 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before". There is one thing that God knew before he came down to this earth and demonstrate the way of life intended, and pay the cost of all that is unacceptable before his presence through the identity of Christ Jesus was this... Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". Need confirmation... Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away". Need more confirmation? Just look into a mirror and think about yourself. How about an acknowledgment of one of Gods elect Apostles... Romans 7:24-25 "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin". Seriously? You think you can demonstrate your love for the Lord God I Am more than Apostle Paul? Apostle Paul was the only Apostle acknowledged with the same reverence of Jesus Christ of the Devil. Acts 19:13-16 "Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded". "And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?". Jesus did not run, and coward away from his faith, nor did the Nobel Apostle Paul. Apostle Paul did not rely on his self ability or credibility of accomplishments. He consistently at every opportunity offered to usurp self praise, deny his credibility of ability with humility promoting the grace of God with truth. Truth is... Press on! Press on with lifting up the name that is the only name worthy of consistent praise, Christ Jesus. The way of empowerment... 1.John 12:32 "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me". This way is often without manifestation because unconscious arrogance. Ministers, Preachers, Prophets, and Apostles of today, lift high the name of Jesus in which enables his word to draw all men to his name. Then the name of Jesus is removed and replaced with their own name as though it was their name that drew men which is with ending result of not manifesting the conclusive presence of The Lord God I Am. Just think consider every name over every great ministry promoted. Not so with Apostle Paul. Not so with Jesus Christ also in the person of humanity. Matthew 19:16-17 "And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments". Jesus is God in the flesh, demonstrating to us on earth, how to not get caught up in self praise. Knowing his own identity he instructed this man to seek himself in the identity of God, not in his person of his flesh as Jesus. When this man called Jesus good, Jesus said there is none good but God. Humility demonstrated of God. As long as you have breath you can get it right with God. Got spilled milk? Get a mop. clean it up, get on with life.... Philippians 3:13 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before". Get it? Got it? Please share it..... Repost to the encouragement of others.
