Henry Culhams Obituary 1923 - Another of Parry Sounds pioneers has passed on. We refer to Mr. Henry Culham who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Farley, 1396 Bathurst St., Toronto on March 23, 1923, aged 87 years. He had been in poor health all winter, although seriously ill for less than a week. Death was due principally to old age. The late Mr. Culham was born in Beverley, near Galt, and he lived at Granite Hill in Gurd Township for 45 years, coming from there to Toronto last November. He was a Methodist in religion and attended St. Clair Ave. Methodist Church. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Isobel Zimmerman, of Cleveland Ohio, Mrs. Booth of Trout Creek; Mrs. John Finners of Saskatchewan; and Mrs. E. Farley of Toronto. His wife died in March of last year. The remains were conveyed to the Commanda Church where a service was held by rev. Hewston. Internment took place in Commanda Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Mseers E. Farley, A. Booth, S. Culham, A.R. McLaughlin, E. Bone and J. Ricker. The many friends and family extend to them their most sincere sympathy in their bereavement.
