Henry (my middle grandchild) is counting down the days til school is out. He asked his mom if she was happy it was time for summer break so she would be off work. She explained to him that only teachers are off for summer break. The rest of the grownups have to keep working. He said in that case he wanted to be a teacher when he grows up. Later they stopped at the post office and he asked why. She told him she was paying some bills. He pondered a moment and then asked if teachers had to pay bills too! When she replied yes, he said he thought maybe he would rather just be a dog! Not a bad choice! (Henry is a hoot!)
