Here I Am Knocking Here I am standing at the door of your heart, wont you let me come in and flood light where theres dark? For I have been knocking for such a long time, dont leave it much longer to become a child of mine I just want you to know. That I love you so much and can fill your heart within that once was starved of love. So please dont delay in responding to me, for I may not keep knocking and I have not a key I will never force you. To open the door, its all up to you, my friend, to receive me as Lord. All I Want Is To Love You Come to my refreshing waters, let your fretting cease cast your burdens upon me and I will give you peace always know I love you and wont leave you alone. So when you face the darkness, you wont face it on your own when youre in need of a friend to listen to your cares, know that I will be that friend to hear your desperate prayers. I know just how youre feeling before you kneel to pray so nothing will surprise me in what you want to say and I will not condemn you when you confess your sins, I just long for you to come and let my love come in. I am here to heal you and protect you from harm, for all I want is to love you and hold you in my arms. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18 17 But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. We’re not barging in on the rightful work of others, interfering with their ministries, demanding a place in the sun with them. What we’re hoping for is that as your lives grow in faith, you’ll play a part within our expanding work. And we’ll all still be within the limits God sets as we proclaim the Message in countries beyond Corinth. But we have no intention of moving in on what others have done and taking credit for it. “If you want to claim credit, claim it for God.” What you say about yourself means nothing in God’s work. It’s what God says about you that makes the difference. Thoughts on Todays Verse... We live in a world with skewed values, false promises and fleeting fame. What can we boast in other than the steadfastness of the Lords love, the incredible riches of the Lords grace, the incomparable supply of the Lords blessings, the sweetness of the Lords people, the mercy of the Lords plan for our salvation, the promise of the Lords tomorrow, the.....?
