Here I am on a rainy Friday night, pondering my many FB friends and the interesting private messages Ive recvd lately. Without fail, these messages were concerning the diversity of my friends. I love diversity, I learn so much from my friends; from their posts, from conversations/ debates on my post. I have strong democratic leanings, yet feel independent on some issues. Just because my political position doesnt exactly equal that of yours, is not a good reason to not be friends and have polite, interesting political discourse. Tolerance of others opinions, however is a must. I dont expect my posts to change everyones mind, to my point of view. I do like others telling me theres even if it is the opposite. I like to encourage healthy debate and offer posts for that.
