Here I am, sitting in my armchair with the phone pressed to my ear, talking to a friendly person in California. I have been nervous for a while, because this is not just any person, but a person doing a radio interview. The only thing scarier than a radio interview is a TV interview. Or maybe a live interview in front of an audience with cameras and microphones, that must be the scariest thing ever. Anyway, here I am in my armchair, thinking: it could be worse! and I can hear myself talking and talking about The Longest Way and the blisters and the dream and the future and all that, and all the while I am trying to make myself sound confident. And how do you do that? You laugh. Hehehe. Hohoho. Muhahaha. Until at some point, the friendly radio host from California asks me: Why are you laughing, Chris? And I dont know what to say.
