Here I lay awake,another night my hands shake,my mind could explode,make the earthquake,people seem to think Im a fake,or that I dont appreciate,but Im as real as it gets,and will never let this love turn to hate,im about to be a dad,and at that,ill be great, but theres a battle in my mind making me contemplate,what to do,what to do,she says she still loves me,true, well thats funny cause your still out on your ass dude,and thats where people start throwing their two cents in,making such comments,gets one second guessing,but Ive been around the block,and I know what a mess is,this is not one,I have faith,like in chess,queen, my most valuable weapon, and yes she has my mind trippin, but Im not given in,Im sitting back and building up my dividends,I love her and my friends,that will remain to the end,however i dunno how much farther my mind can bend,before it breaks,i need to make these amends,Felicia baby girl youre my best friend,all I can say is I hope this doesnt end,cause if it does ill probably never trust again,end up moving back,well on the other side of Michigan,just to escape the pain thats developing within,this is paranoia,blending with a patience wearing thin,this needs to end,no more gin,I just want to fullheartedly grin, Im not even drinking,just thinking,and I didnt have a pen,so here I am,this man cant formulate a plan,that,no-one seems to understand,still madly passionate,but seems Im in quicksand,stuck, so Im re-reextending my hand,playing over and over again,my love,this was our plan,and Im still your man,so why is it so hard for you to talk to me then,you say were still in this together,but 2 days has turned into whats seeming like forever,and I can weather a storm,but this needs to get better,consider this a letter,I Iook to grow old together,instead of it turning this love,to I wish Id never meet her, cause it took two to tango,and now it feels like your answer,is you want to sever,when you used to say forever.
