Here Piggy Piggy competed this weekend in Mason City, Iowa. This was a "project" to 1. Involve the crowd - we made all our turn in boxes from the stage and then invited the crowd to taste competition BBQ, 2. See first hand what the new KCBS scoring system was like - more on this to come as there is a lot of information and 3. Have Fun! With the help of the wonderful Iowa BBQ community, fun was had... 23rd place out of 66 teams including a 10th place chicken, 26th place Rib (top 10 anywhere else), 23rd Pork and 37th brisket.
