Here are a couple of remounts I just finished up. These were great animals taken through a popular outfitter who used a taxidermist they didnt check out. These mounts took almost 3 years to complete. Some of the things wrong included no mouth cup used--just smeared apoxy and tried to roughly shape it then painted it a purplish grey. The real nose was misshaped and the nostrils were filled in. The hanger was sticking through the top of the mount. The seam was coming apart as were many other holes that were loosely stitched. The form was visible in many places. There was drumming all over because no glue was used. There was paint and apoxy all over the teeth. I could have posted dozens more pictures, of the before and after, but nothing compares to how bad they looked in person. The last two pictures are two of the pigs after the remount.
