Here are a few of the reasons I LOVE our small town, USA... FCA - or Future Christians of America - a club who meets every morning AT THE SCHOOL. Yes, they pray - AT THE SCHOOL. Gasp! We actually pray before every SCHOOL event and thats how we WANT IT. We support each other and we dont let whiny liberal pussies determine what OUR kids learn or how OUR town is run. And Friday night football, where almost the ENTIRE town is every Friday night - rain or shine. The drive-in in town where everyone goes after the game for ice cream. The kid who works at the co-op, knows my car and has my order ready for me as soon as I walk in. The gas station attendant who doesnt make you pre-pay and even lets you go back home AFTER youve pumped your gas to get your wallet that you forgot. Break down on the side of the road and 10 people have stopped to help in as many minutes. The school nurse is my neighbor, the Doc knows us all by first name and will even answer questions at the Friday night game. The neighbor who offers to roto-till your garden since hes already doing his. Screw diversity, big cities and the crime it brings. Ive lived it, it sucks and I chose to leave it. Best decision we ever made was moving our family here! Pretty damn happy! :D
