Here are a few random comments culled from the student evaluations from my course on abstract linear algebra: Sometimes he confused students by talking too advanced. isnt freightened [sic.] at the front of the room. Doesnt have to read his notes. funny sometimes. open to helping students, personal: he knows my name, holds lunches for students. If you want to get to know him, you can, and even if you dont, you will. Dont reference Math 113 [abstract algebra] so much. Or at all. need to spend a lot of time thinking. Material in this class is a little dry after 54 [lower-division linear algebra course]. Little upset we didnt get to Jordan form. always open to questions, always in a great mood. Best math professor Ive had so far. Thanks for going above and beyond to reach out to students. Holy shit dual maps are confusing.
