Here are more of the so called lucky ones. They dont have to dig in a dumpster for food. They wont be having kittens twice a year struggling to care for them. They get some water on a steaming hot day. Lucky isnt exactly what I would call them but compared to the hundreds of other cats roaming the streets of Boston looking for food, some sickly, some injured some mother cats trying to nurse their kittens when they themselves havent eaten in days I guess they are the lucky ones. So sad that a city this big with so many resources allows their animals to suffer so badly. The small group of us out here every morning feeding and trapping, transporting cats anywhere we can fit them, setting up shelters and doing so much more are not a 501c3 group. We get very little support from any big Org and none from the city. If not for us, instead of the 10 thousand cats roaming Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan there would be triple that amount now.
