Here are some Frequently Asked Questions from our participants for the #AfdentCommercialContest: Q: Does the required Afdent Patient have to appear in the commercial for it to qualify? A: No. The Afdent Patient does not have to physically appear in the commercial, but the commercial must be submitted under the patients name and contact information. Only the person submitting will be able to claim any prize from the contest and then distribute to their group from there. Q: How will voting work? A: Voting will open next Friday, January 30 running through Friday, February 6 on our Facebook Page. During that time any Facebook user (does not have to be a patient) can visit our page to vote for their favorite commercial by clicking on the Afdent Commercial Contest at the top of our page, and checking out our gallery of commercials. One vote per Facebook user will be allowed. 75% of the vote is decided by public Facebook vote, the other 25% of the vote is decided by our management team, which includes our founder and owner, Dr. Roger Pecina! Q: Can we come in and film in your office? A: Yes! We encourage you to film in our office, but you must ask the permission of anyone else appearing in your commercial before they can be filmed, including our patients, otherwise you will need to blur or crop them out! If you would like to film in a treatment room or with one of our great staff members, please email mschaar@afdent to schedule a time to do so. Q: How many people can the commercial feature? A: From no people (some people are just doing a commercial with pictures put together (or even pet animals!) to as many as you can fit into your 30 second- 1 minute spot! Q: Where can I find more information about Afdent for my commercial? A: A great place to find information is our website at afdent/mishawaka or check out our youtube for things our patients are saying and past commercials we have run! Q: How old do I have to be to submit or appear in a commercial? A: Anyone can submit a commercial or appear. However, if you are 18 and under, we ask that you have a parent/guardian fill out a permission form! Q: What about copyrights and things like that?
