Here are some pictures of the knife pair I am making. I warped the larger blade and almost destroyed it on the grinder. (it got caught in between the stone and the ledge and made a nasty gouge in it). I fixed that by driving the edge deeper towards the spine. It will have a wicked edge on it by the time I am done with it. The last picture on the white cloth shows the difference between the two, the smaller one is ready for heat treatment, the larger one still needs to be straightened and put on the belt sander. The straightening will be the hard part..
