They are tapestries woven from the experiences we all consider important , even vital, but sometimes cannot express through the reality we find ourselves entrenched in . Fiona explores these emotional dimensions in eloquent lines of the written word .Fictional highways of love , loss , fear , hope and epiphany are traveled hand in hand with the non-fictional ... the lines are blurred .. and the truth exposed . Fiona can be contacted via Facebook at FionaMcCloskeyscribbles or by email at [email protected] Let me introduce myself : my name is David Slater, I live in sunny Suffolk-UK I am fifty two years ( young ) and I have only recently found my spark for writing poetry, short stories called-prose. My biggest addiction is Clive Barker novels and have been a fan of Horror/Dark fantasy since leaping out of my cradle. The greatest gift as a writer is to evoke in others, be it emotion, dread, fear or elation etc, our imagination knows no bounds thus giving a writer a fantastical scope in which to plunder.Though I do not consider myself a poet as such, but I enjoy stirring a emotive response in others through my writings twisting the mind in ponderations. Kindly yours D.A.Slater. Greg McWhorter is a teacher and pop-culture historian that resides in Southern California. Since the 1980s, he has worked for newspapers, radio, television, and film.
