Here are the meeting notes from our meeting 9/11/14. Attendance: 7 members Quick THANK YOU to Terra Boyd for supplying Starbucks coffee for the meeting! Announcements: 8th annual Suicide Walk on 9/27/14 @ 10am. Soberest on 9/21/14 from 12-5. Symposium @ Main campus 9/19/14 All details are on our bulletin Board. Topics: It was voted on that we will be adding a second meeting day and time so that more members can attend. This will be Weds @ 11:00 am in the same space. We spent most of the meeting brainstorming ideas about projects and activities that we had interests in. We can continue to add to either of these categories as the year goes on. If you have an idea and want to do something please feel free to email me or bring it up at a meeting. Fun activities: Board game night, Bowling night, Pizza and a movie night, study night or day, stress relief activity, attend events at main campus and team up with the social work club and Social work appreciation month in March. Service/ Awareness: Christmas grams, Random acts of kindness Day, High Five Fridays, Soup kitchen, honor military, send Christmas cards, Awareness month events, bullying week, day without shoes. Next meetings: We will be looking at discussing and voting on an awareness project to do this semester and a fun activity. We will be holding elections for Treasurer Position, this week if you are interested in this position please email me. We have an opportunity to take the Strength Quest Assessments. This is an assessment quiz that helps you identify what your strengths and weaknesses are. If you are interested, please email me and I will get you the code to access the quiz. Club Business: we are constructing a club constitution along with a motto. Thank you to everyone that came to the meeting and shared your ideas!
