Here are the two main verses that I used for Kelly Flindt s Celebration service yesterday. If you knew her and you knew her Savior you would agree that these verses represented her life perfectly. The first verse comes from a prayer of Jesus to the Father right before His crucifixion and death. He knew He was about to leave this earth and wanted His father to know that He was about to complete His mission/assignment. Kelly completed her earthly mission. And she brought God Glory in her life and in her death!! I have glorified You on the earth by completing the work You gave Me to do. John 17:4 The second verse was seen in Kellys life and heart as well. Not only was she a teacher but she was also concerned with peoples eternal souls. I hope and pray as you read 2 Corinthians 13:5 you would search the scriptures and then your heart (in that order) to see if you pass the test. “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?” 2 Corinthians 13:5 As always I am always available to any of my facebook friends to have a conversation about your eternal soul if you let me know.
