Here at Hill Top we are proud to be the ONLY Fish & Chip Shop in Slawit to have been awarded a place in Fry Magazines Top 50 UK Fish & Chip Shops. :) We cook TRADITIONAL fish & chips in premium beef dripping, which is a natural by product of the beef industry & has practically no waste. :) All our Icelandic Cod & Haddock is sourced from MSC accredited suppliers. :) Our potatoes, bread & salad stuff is all purchased locally & all our dry/frozen goods are purchased from a regional company. We use biodegradable or recycled packaging wherever possible, all this helps us lower our carbon footprint & help look after our planet. :) We do not offer gluten free or extensive vegetarian options due to the physical size of our premises & the traditional cooking medium used, there would always be considerable risk of cross contamination & this is unacceptable. :( The things we do we try to do 100% if that is not possible we dont do it because we REALLY do care about the food you will take away! :)
