Here at Love & Leashes, we work hard to be sure that folks arent adopting purely by impulse. We spend quite a bit of time interviewing possible adopters to be sure they understand the importance of commitment. This is an update from a woman who didnt know she was coming to the mall for a dog, and the wonderful ever after . . . Update: I adopted Cash from you guys in November of 2012 on a complete whim. I had come to the mall to buy my moms Christmas present, and stopped in. I ended up leaving without the present, and with Cash in tow. He was an owner surrender whose previous family didnt have time for him anymore. Its been amazing. He is such a sweet dog, full of cuddles, and lots of love. A few weeks after I adopted him, Cash had a seizure, and then in December of 2012, he had another one. Im not sure if thats why his previous family gave him up, but hes mine now--hes on medication to control his seizures (potassium bromide), and he only has a few a year. It sounds funny, but I think I was meant to adopt him that day--many people might have given up on Cash when he had his first seizure, it seems his old owners did--but, not me. This dog deserves to have a beautiful life, and I know I am giving it to him. And, he is definitely returning the favor. He even has his own page on my blog! nataliemcd.blogspot/p/cashs-corner.html Anyway, thanks Love & Leashes!
