Here goes - Ive never been an avid reader, but yes some books do have a special place in my life. I will try my best to list down 10 books, as I believe in my lifetime Ive read 9.25 books. Thank you for nominating me Upasana and Sathe. In the process, Ill be revealing a couple of secrets. Khaled Hosseini - The Kite Runner - Never have read anything as gripping as this. Every detail had a story. Aravind Adiga - The White Tiger. I loved the style and the dark undertone, but it later on became his niche and took the Slumdog Millionaire stereotypical path. Never reading any more of his books. Sidin Vadukut - Dork Series. His books introduced me to writing comedy and humour and I did learn a lot from his style of writing. Havent read his new one though. Sidney Sheldon - If tomorrow comes, Tell me your Dreams. This was the time when I heard Spice Girls on loop and Sporty Spice was my favourite spice girl :\ Damn, lets move on - I still find Ginger, hot. Ok. Perry Mason - The drowning duck. The first book I ever read! (Even though I read the suspense when I was on the 23rd page) Adam Gilchrist - True Colors. Such an amazing man, was always a huge fan of his hard work and unconventional cricket. Amazing character and I loved every word of it. Sachin is God. Story - Robert Mckee. THIS IS MY BIBLE. He is such an amazing guy responds to queries on twitter. Loved it. Thank you Michael, for the letting me have this. Anand Neelkanthan -Asura- tale of the vanquished, the story of Ravana and his people I read this book with a lot of bias as I was never a huge fan of Rama. The language, the dark undertone added to great emperors vulnerability. Jerry Pinto - Em and the Big Hoom. My first personally autographed book. * still drooling * Jaya - Devdutt Pattanaik. Always wanted a book that portrays our Mythology without giving any judgement and just stating facts. Beautifully written. ( Our sages impregnated fishes back then) Special Mention: Books that helped me deal with puberty - Femina, Womens Era. Thank you so much! Before puberty struck - Tinkle comics and digest. (Still love reading these books). Would someday, love to write a story for Tinkle. So then - here it is. I have it stated. And with the hope of getting out a secret or two, I nominate - Mustansir Dalvi Sir, Shriya Ghate, Manoj Gopalkrishnan, the amazing Sorabh Pant and the super human Matthew Ruben Selitsky Daniels Damn, this is like the poor mans ice bucket challenge.
