Here in Portland we have a great flow art scene. So many talented people. What we are missing is a collective. So here is my idea and why we should do it. A b boy style battle. In my fantasy world this is what it looks like. Day one. Work shops all day . At night every group does a fire show. This is judged. Second day more work shops. At night there is battles between the top places from the fire show. The scores are calculated for a winning team. Now the why. Friendly competition has been very successful motivation for me in flow arts. Braking down into smaller groups to make a big show. This would make scheduleing practices much easier. If people dont show up for the battle you can still have a show. Last but not least we can make something for the whole community. If you want to participate leave a comment.
