Here in the Philippines it is Christmas Eve, my house has for years been the gathering place because we are the only one who put up a tree, so the entire family (30-40) will or already have placed their presents there. Cooking will start this morning and not Turkey of ham, but roast pork, BBQ chicken and many BBQ-ed fish. It will be a mad house and me and my house dogs will sneak off and hide. The party will start (Nothing compared to my Brother Dan’s) and the drinking eating and singing will start at supper time and go until midnight, when all stops and the presents are handed out. By 1 am it will recommence until they drop like flies all over my house and yard. Me again I’ll sneak off to my room and go to sleep, my days pulling all nighters has long since past. But to you kind folks back in Dorchester or here in the Philippines and those spread around the world I wish each a happy and glorious Christmas.
