Here is Chloe Browns winning story! My fiancé & I got engaged on 31st May this year. We had both booked a day off work/studying and decided to have a day out together and go to Castlewellan, Co. Down. My fiancé (Paul) picked me up just after 10:30am and took me out for a lovely breakfast. We then drove to Castlewellan and walked around the Maze, where I spotted a little origami bird pinned to a gate post. (Paul had made me little origami birds & roses in the past, so I thought it was pretty special to see that someone else had made them too.) Paul suggested that I pick up the origami bird and open it... When I did, I realised there was a clue written in it, in Pauls handwriting! Little did I know, but Paul had already went to Castlewellan earlier that morning, before picking me up and he had made a treasure hunt with the origami birds. The clues were questions about us & our relationship so far and the little birds were dotted all around the forest park. Eventually, they led me to a quiet little area beside the lake and when I looked up, I noticed the final clue - an envelope hanging on a tree branch. Paul took the envelope down, opened it & read out a beautiful poem that he had written for me. Then he got down on one knee and proposed! He had hidden the ring box inside our picnic basket that he carried with him the whole time! I couldnt be more happier or surprised Our wedding plans are well under way & we are getting married on July 15th 2015 x Chloe Browns photo.
