Here is a Civil War map for the Battle for Bentonville (North Carolina). My great, great, great uncle was capture here by the Confederate Army and sent to Libby Prison, as a POW. He sustained a shot to the knee. I am awaiting copies of his medical records from the National Archives. He survived, returned home and lived until 1914. The photos (left to right) are: Uncle Charlies grave, a reenactment on the Bentonville battlefield, the home used by union troops as a command center and Colonel William P. Innes, who helped command the battle. My uncle would have reported to him.
