Here is a Rita Skeeter and Hermione Granger HC that I have done. Remember NO HATE!! Snarky Granger Hermione is standing by the window in the Hospital Wing. She notices that there is a lady bug just hanging out near there. She realizes that this is the same bug that was in her hair after the second task because she remembers Viktor telling her she had one in her hair. She quickly slaps her hand down on the window sill to trap Rita and places her in a jar that she quickly conjures up. She makes sure that she put some holes in the top for her to breath. On the train ride home, she shows the boys who she trapped in the jar and why she was making racket that night. The boys smile at her ingenious of catching her. She tells Harry that she figured out that Rita was an Animagus like Padfoot. He nods in understanding. “I am going to take her into another empty carriage to talk because I don’t want her in my house. I will be back boys.” Hermione said. She gets up from her seat and walks out of the area to find a private place to talk. She finds an empty carriage a couple of doors down. She locks the door and puts up a couple of different spells to ensure that no one overhears them. She looks at the jar and says, “Rita, I am going to let you out but don’t even think of trying anything. We are going to discuss the terms of your punishment for this year’s articles against Harry and me. Got it?” Rita’s bug head nods. Hermione opens the jar and lets Rita out of the jar. Rita Skeeter pops back into her normal form and she sneers at Hermione but realizes that she must pay the piper if she wants to continue writing. “What do you want from me, Miss Granger?” “Ah Ah Ah…” Hermione said. “Don’t be nasty to the one person that could make your life a living hell, Rita! Now sit down.” Rita realizes that Hermione is right. She figures that Hermione would know what would happen to her if she decided to squeal on her. Rita takes a deep breath and asks, “OK. What do you want me to do to repay for your damaged reputation?” Hermione looks a bit surprised that Rita is submitting to her. “Alright, Rita, these are the terms and there is no changing them or I go straight to the Aurors office at the Ministry.” Rita nods in understanding. “Number One, No reporting for a year.” Rita almost screeches to complain but knows better to do so. “Number two, if I call you for any reason, you must respond immediately. Number three, if I ask you to write an article for me, it has to be factual and truthful from start to finish. That is all that I require from you.” Rita exhales and realizes that it could have been a lot worse but agrees to the terms. “Fine, I am agreeable to the terms. I might not like them but if it gets me to write again after the year is up. I will do it.” Hermione nods and pulls out a contract for Rita to sign. Rita signs it after looking it over. “I need you to get back into your bug form. I will release you when we get back into London. I will simply tell my parents that I want you to live among your own kind,” explains Hermione as she holds out the jar for Rita to get back into it. Rita nods in understanding. She pops back into her bug form and goes back into the jar. Hermione seals it and meets up with the boys to talk until they reach back to Kings Cross. When they greet their parents with hugs and kisses, Hermione tells her parents that she wants to release her bug that she got at Hogwarts. She walks over to a flower for Rita to fly onto outside of the station. Hermione whispers, “OK?” She sees a little tiny nod. Hermione turns around to join her parents to go home. Rita slowly makes her way down the street for somewhere safe to pop back human so she could go home.
