Here is a question on a subject that has been bothering me and many of you too I would say. I know in some cases, some of the douchebag violators have no licence or registration at all but in many of the cases, people do have a licence and registration and have amassed extraordinary fines into the tens of thousands of dollars. How is this so? I always thought if you had just one ticket, you could not renew your registration unless it was paid first. If these fines are on file to a particular person or vehicle at the MVR, why cant the police just round them up and arrest them instead of letting them continue to let the violations and fines pile up into the tens of thousands of dollars? Are these people driving with no registration or licence also? Maybe I am missing something. Anyone out there can enlighten me on this?
