Kamea, who is also helping to run this event has lyme disease her self, she is currently doing well and has recently just finished her treatment at Sponaugle treatment Centre in Florida. You can get lyme disease genetically or from a tick bite. It changes the lives of everyone that suffers from it; one day youre happily running down the street, the next day you cant even manage to stand up. it is often mis diagnosed and is not funded by the Canadian government. Families lose their jobs and sell their houses so that they can afford to send their family members to treatment in America. The money that we are hoping to raise will go towards the Canadian Lyme Foundation. Please help us make a difference. we will soon be selling T-shirts online and throughout our school, if anyones interested.
