Here is a recent testimonial :-D The fact that Jackie is a midwife was really useful as she was able to answer our many questions and explain to us any information. She had both a medical and practical understanding of child birth and was able to communicate her knowledge to us effectively. We trusted Jackie as she was a very experienced professional. It was really important to learn about the role of natural hormones/chemicals in the body and how they influence labour. It was useful to understand how to increase oxytocin naturally. I enjoyed the relaxation sessions when Jackie read us a script, I got so relaxed I even fell asleep in one class! The book was useful to read as a follow up to what was discussed in class, it also had a good reading list which I used to find more books about the subject of natural birth. We felt very welcomed into Jackie’s home as she prepared the space with candles, pictures etc. We could help ourselves to drinks and homemade cake and there was easy access to the toilet (important for heavily pregnant women!)
