Here is a tip for the day on cats, ferrets, rabbits, and teeny weeny dogs... Use the chain portion, not the huge tag ONLY the chain. You can go to ACE hardware you get the size you need for cat and you get 4.00 id tag at walmart smallest one they have. these dont get hung up on pet because you can measure them to neck size and they cut the beads off the roll. and they will snap if ever caught on something. Used them for yrs. You measure to the neck give it a teeny extra few beads.. OK. then it snaps in place and if they were to ever get caught it breaks ... and the teeny tag at walmart is heart shaped and 4.00 make sure to always use 2 phone numbers, since we sometimes move change cells and get old and 4get to change ID on microchip and tags.(sadly) and also. Be sure to check tags as they do wear off in time the ones at petsmart are 8.00 BUT THEY ARE COVERED IN A COATING THAT DOESNT WEAR OFF ... ** again I am not suggesting using this silly superman id only the chain - the chain comes in teeny beads, medium, and large- you can also get at Michaels or Hobby lobby-- good luck - remember something those of you who swear you pets never leave your side. There wouldnt be so many thousands killed daily in pounds and lost on streets if they never left owners sides. It happens, its not intentional and it hurts so bad when it does happen so please I urge all of you to ID your pets in all ways possible not just a chip alone... Names on necks gets pets home FAST and so do chips but if the person who has NO car can barely get to the grocery store, the last thing they are going to be able to do is call for a ride to get a lost pet to a vet.
