Here is a tip for those of you out there who are as domestically minded as I am. (Not very.) When you have spilled candle wax on your carpet during your New Year revels and only got round to attempting to remove it in February, that thing with the iron and the brown paper works very well. Only dont put the iron on too high a setting, or it will burn your carpet, leaving you with a much more unsightly mess than the one you started out with. Youre welcome.
