Here is a tip on mixing paint from HotRodders: Auto paint will settle out so the solids are on the bottom of the can.. So take an empty clean can and pour about half off into the clean can .. then take a stir stick and cut it to a sharp point and scrape all the dies of the can the paint came in and get into the corners until you have made all the pigment loose and fluid. Then pour the paint back and forth between the 2 containers until you are sure all the material is throughly mixed. If you have several quarts or gallons of the same color go around and around until all the material is well blended so the color matches from can to can. The go ahead and shoot the paint..Doing this all the material is now the same and you have a uniform color of material for your paint job and the pearl or metalflake will be well distributed throughout the job.. __________________ I have tried most all of it and now do what is known to work..
