Here is an excerpt from my uncles (maternal side) analysis of my Dads DNA. DNA research and the family history of my Moms side are his hobbies. Since no one on my Dads side had done any research, Mom took it up in the nineties. Anyway, for his birthday, she got my Dad a DNA test kit. Hence, the exchange with my uncle.... I understand most people dont give a shit, but there are two major takeaways... I share bloodlines with Ashkenazi Jews and Asian hunter gatherers. That may explain a few things about me... ---------------------------- On Bob’s (and Pat’s) maternal line T2 is low levels of the European population, but not concentrated geographically within Europe. Bob shares the T2 line with Jesse James and czar Nicholas II. Their maternal ancestor was in the Near East about 45,000 years ago when the T mutation occurred. Their maternal ancestor who had the T2 mutation perhaps 30,000 years ago was still in the Near East. On Bob, Pat, and Christopher’s paternal ancestral Q1b there is a spectacular map, showing no Europeans, but is very strong among the Asians who attacked wooly mammoths, plus forming a very high percentage of those who immigrated to the W hemisphere long ago. Pretty hard to trace any of their relatively recent ancestry to Siberia or to the Indians of W Hemisphere. The only explanation I could find was on History page of the paternal ancestry, where practically the only Europeans to have any Q are 5% of Ashkenazi Jews. So that is the most likely origin. You can ask your men if they feel Jewish. Before that, apparently the ancestral Q mutation occurred in north Asia about 18,000 years ago – so before being Jewish, they may well have been the mammoth hunters. Glorious stuff, I think.
