Here is an idea. Complete the following notice, laminate it, stick in on your front gate and send it to the DPIF. It will refuse banana inspectors entry to your property. However, they can request entry in writing, It will clearly state that you expect reasonable compensation for any plants removed. It prohibits banana inspectors from entering your property according to the Trespass Act. It wont stop them from getting a warrant to enter your property, By demanding compensation we are likely to cause the Banana Freckle Response significant difficulties. We have a right to just compensation under the Plant Health Act and Self-Government Act. If 50,000 property owner request compensation the government will not be able to afford the Banana Freckle response! If you have any suggestions or changes, please advise. NB: I am not a lawyer, dont take what I say as gospel, but I have done a bit of research. If needed, get legal advice from a real lawyer!!
