Here is an idea to stimulate the thinking of pupils and the economy of countries throughout the world: Start something in your country along the lines of MYTH BUSTERS (TV show). It could be called IDEA TESTERS. Pupils and others send in entrepreneurial ideas they have and a TV channel gets an engineering department of a university to test the idea on a TV show. Good ideas could be rewarded with a prize. Example: A pupil sends in the idea that buildings (rather than exhausts) be coated with a catalyst that reduces pollution. This is tested out using a small scale model of a polluted city and a TV show is made of it.
