Here is an interesting question to those who say only the Jews - TopicsExpress

Here is an interesting question to those who say only the Jews were redeemed and that the Gentiles were purchased. In Titus we see in this verse that Jesus redeemed people. Titus 2:13-14 13 while we wait for the blessed hope–the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. The question is this who is this us? Titus 2:11 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. All men. Not only Jews. All men. Also if you read the next verse you will see certain people are purchased. Revelation 14:4 4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. Now who are these people who were purchased. Revelation 14:3 3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. If you note these 144000 are those mentioned in Revelation 7. Revelation 7:4-8 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. 5 From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000, 6 from the tribe of Asher 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000, 7 from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000, 8 from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000. They are all Jews. As such you would note the teaching that Jews are redeemed and Gentiles are purchased is clearly misconceived.
