Here is an update on Tommy. First, when his hip popped out of place yesterday & I found him all crumpled on the ground, I freaked out. Ran in the house, got Jess, & bless her heart she & my mom, my sister Lawanna, & sister-in-law Denise kept me calm. I turned ghost white. No broken bones, praise God, & he was heavily sedated when they put his hip back in place. Thank you Dr. Masters at Audubon Hospital E.R. & all you nurses who helped. They made me leave because even though I calmed down, the doctor said I got too upset earlier & he was afraid I would faint. So, after they got him fully sedated (& boy, was he funny) I left & sat right outside the door. Going back to Dr. Zack Stearns who did the hip replacement tomorrow. He is comfortable but moving slow. More updates to follow tomorrow. All prayers appreciated.
