Here is an update on the 2 lovely lab crosses that Stray Aid transferred to a local rescue: (Photo below) Storm and China, Storm is 10 years old and China is 12 years old. They are believed to be mother and daughter and are very close and dependent on each other, they are always together. China and Storm are both sweet natured and good with other dogs, although they don’t enjoy being bothered by young dogs. China has some fatty lumps, but they are nothing to be worried about. They were very shy and upset when they first arrived, but have now started to settle and are looking happier. They need a quiet life, although they are still active and enjoy a gentle walk. We have no history on them other than the owner died and they were sent to a council pound. We contacted the pound after hearing about them and the pound kindly agreed to let us take them into our care so that they could be in foster care rather than kennels. We collected them on Boxing Day as they had already been in the pound for two weeks. The kennels had them spayed and need a home where someone is in most of the time. They spent Christmas in the pound so hopefully these lovely ladies would like to spend the New Year in a new home.
