Here is another article from a committed secularist . Look how he has used, literally used, Gandhiji to defame our PM. The writer is trying to ridicule Mr. Modi on two counts using or rather abusing Ganhiji. He suggests, though not so overtly, that Gandhi would not have approved of the comment Mr. Modi had made about the Indian Muslims, That Indian Muslims are true patriots, that they live for India and would die for India if necessary. He claims that Gandhi would have said that Indian Muslims do not need such a certificate from anybody. The writer may be right. But then, when Gandhiji was alive, Kashmiri Pandits were not driven away from their homeland by radical Islamic separatists. There were no SIMI or IM jehadi terrorists. There was no Madani, Thdiyantavida Nazeer, Yasin Bhatkal or Riyaz Bhatkal who are involved in bomb blasts in many parts of this country. There was no Safdar Nagori who was responsible for the Samjhauta Express blast. There were no Afsal Gurus or Gilani brothers. There was no 26/11 type terror attack. No youth had gone to a foreign country (like those18 young men who went to Iraq to fight on the side of the ISIS) to fight for a terrorist organization which had declared formation of an Islamic Khaliphate encompassing India, the organization who chopped the heads of innocent captive persons and who had forcibly converted many non-Mulsims including Christians and Yezdis. No Indian Mulla had said that he had readied over 5 lakh Muslim youth to join the ISIS to fight for the Islamization of India No Mulsim leader had publicly declared that if the police is kept away for a day, the 10 crore Muslims would eliminate the 100 crore Hindus of this country. Why, Gandhiji was not even able to convince those Islamic fundamentalists and to prevent the partition of this country as a Muslim State and a non-Mulsim state. Yes, India needed an assurance from the prime minister, more the majority community than the Muslims, that imported Jehadi terrorism is not going to be a threat to the safety and security of all Indians across caste, religion, region and language. Then the writer says the government offices should not have been kept closed for this cleanliness drive. Does he not know that Gandhi Jayanthi is a national holiday and all government offices remain closed on that day?
