Here is another one of our wonderful students being tested during the Quran Competition at the Langford Islamic College. For all my students, parents and staff, in particular this young man who is a favourite student of mine in Year 10, I pray: O Allah let the Quran be the Spring of our heart, the light of our sight, the remover our distress and depression. O Allah we ask You for limitless faith, unending blessings & happiness that is maintained. We ask You the company of the Prophet sala Allahu alihi wasSalaam in the Eternal Garden. O Allah gather us in this life upon obedience to You alone and if not again in this life, then in the Eternal Garden with Muhammed ibn Abdullah, Your Messenger, upon him be Your Choicest blessings and Most complete Honour, sala Allahu alihi wasSalaam. O Allah increase us and do not deprive us, honour us and let us not be disgraced & allow Your blessings to infiltrate every part of our life, O Lord of All existence! O Allah grant us for every letter of the Quran, sweetness. For every word, honour. For every ayat, joy and for every Sura, Peace. O Allah admit us to Jannah by virtue of the Quran’s intercession and let each verse be witness for us O Allah, Lord of all that exists. O Allah allow us to remember from the Quran what we may have be made to forget & let us learn of it what we have not yet acquired and honour us by its Virtue O Allah. O Allah let the Quran be the light of our heart, body and eyes O Allah, Lord of All that exists! O Allah let our children memorise and live by the Quran. O Allah bestow upon us the garments of Honour on the Day of Judgement. O Allah let the Quran be our companion in isolation, and let it protect us from the punishment of the Grave ya Allah. O Allah let the Quran protect us while we remain above the earth, entombed in it and on the Day of Display and Resurrection. O Allah lessen our accounting and punishment on account of our study and love for the Quran ya Allah, Lord of all that exists. O Allah gather us on that Day with the Noble Prophet sala Allahu alihi wasSalaam Glorious is You, Lord of Majestic Might above all that they falsely ascribe to You, peace be upon the Messengers and all praise is due to You Alone O Allah
