Here is my 2 cents worth for now... After struggling for several years and being VERY much aware of the importance of good credit, something strange has occurred. Having been turned down for some small, rather insignificant loans in the past ( kitchen appliances, store credit cards, etc)....when I REALLY needed them to help us.....I now am no longer a CREDIT RISK (apparently), because my credit monitoring service has recently advised me that I have GOOD credit from 2 of the reporting bureaus, and EXCELLENT on the third!!! Amazing...now that my mortgage is paid in full, and I really have no need for credit ..as such.., I score an EXCELLENT!!! WOW!!! WHAT TO DO WITH SUCH GREAT NEWS??? A new car?? New TV?? New furniture?? Vacation?? OR........HOW ABOUT DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING??? Excuse me, but in my opinion, at this time of my life, and this is just me saying this....WHO GIVES A ROYAL RUSSIAN RED RATS --- about an EXCELLENT credit score??? Sorry, not me. Tell someone who cares!! That being said....lets get ready for some basketball!!!
