Here is my rant for the day. I would appreciate comments, especially from my brothers and sisters in arms, particularly those who dont lean as quite to the right as I do. I know we must have our Military IDs verified when we shop at the Commissary or the PX. This keeps those who have not earned the right to shop there from doing so, but please explain to me why it is now policy that I must have my ID card scanned to shop at the Commissary! Why the Hell do they need to know who is buying what? As DECA, the Defense Commissary Agency puts it We need this information to verify a patrons eligibility to use the commissary and to record data about a customers military affiliation, which we provide to the Department of Defense, when requested. In addition, the basic demographic information we capture will allow us to better understand our patrons and their preferences. This will enable us to provide products and services that are directly related to the entire patron base – not individuals – at specific commissary locations. I call BULL SHIT! You have to show your ID to the cashier before it is scanned, so the first line is a lie. They know what they are selling and how much of it (that is keeping track of your inventory and purchasing) , therefore the third line of DECAs statement is another lie. Maybe it may seem a stretch of the imagination, but I think not, to believe that Big Brother wants to know what I am consuming, therefore justifying any excuse at all to increase my insurance rates. Deny it if you want, but Chicago Jesus wants the military retirees out of Tricare and on to Obamacare and they are looking at every way possible to raise the rates that we pay to force us to do so. Next thing you know, I am high risk because I am purchasing to much beef and pork and not enough fruits and vegetables. Sorry Sarge, but you have reached your limit on butter this month. However we do have carrots in the produce section. What in the living Hell is going on in this country? This crap started with GW Bush and the Patriot Act. Obama has been pouring fuel on the fire since day one, and I for one have had enough with the DHS, TSA, NSA, and every other Snoop Doggy Dog snooping in my business. I would give my address and tell them to come kiss my ass but Im sure the have it already. Well, kiss my ass anyway. Im gonna go get a double cheeseburger with bacon, no damn lettuce or tomato!
