Here is my saga for today. This morning, Amy, my daughter, took - TopicsExpress

Here is my saga for today. This morning, Amy, my daughter, took her car to her church for a Single Moms Car Clinic. They decided, after checking that her passenger side berrings were shot and it was dangerous to drive. They are going to fix it for her at a reduced rate, but they cannot get the part until Monday. She called me (I began driving by myself on Thursday of this week). I went to pick her up, reciting the Car Blessing and thanking God for a safe return home (this was my first time on interstate since the surgery). We got all the way to her door, I stopped beside her door and while she was getting out, a neighbor backed into my car. It damaged the drivers side front panel and wheel well. Because the door only opens about 12 and it is quite a painful ordeal to get out of the car, my insurance deemed my car to be undriveable and were going to rent a car for me. Oops, it was 12:08 and the car rental places they use are closed at noon on Saturday until Monday! Had to LAUGH! My prayers worked, I did arrive home safely, but I guess I forgot to pray for my car. I hope that all of you, my friends and family, are having a great day and are grateful for what you have. I am so grateful that it was only a fender bender (just a minor inconvenience), not my fault and most of all, no one was hurt..
